The Chat Window
Conversation Box
The conversation box will show messages sent to the visitor and messages received from the visitor along with system messages.
Message Box
Enter the message you would like to send to the visitor into the message box and click on the "Send" button to send it to them.
Responses
Use the Responses drop-down to send canned responses to the visitor you are chatting with. For more information on canned responses please click here.
Commands
Use the Commands drop-down to send canned commands to the visitor you are chatting with. For more information on canned commands please click here.
Info
The "Info" tab in the Chat Window contains information about the visitor you are chatting with.
Footprints
To view a visitor's footprints click on the "Footprints" tab in the Chat Window. A user's footprints shows which pages on the oliver-and-associates.com web site the user has recently visited.
Transcripts
To view a visitor's past transcripts click on the "Transcripts" tab in the Chat Window. For more information on viewing transcripts please click here.
Transfer
To transfer a chat you are currently engaged in to another agent click on the "Transfer" tab in the Chat Window. Click on the "Transfer" button beside the agent you would like to transfer the chat to. In order to transfer a chat to an agent, that agent must have an "Online" status.
Spam Block
To block the visitor you are currently chatting with from seeing available agents and from requesting live chat assistance click the "Spam Block" tab in the Chat Window. For more information on spam blocking a visitor please click here.
